Vortech Question

Hello
I have 02 f150 5.4 with a vortech supercharger. And just recently noticed that my fuel psi does not get close to 30 psi. When i would punch it before i would get up to 40psi until now.
So my question is could it be the inline fuel pump that went bad?

Thank you all

yes I am running an FMU. also just changed the fuel filter two ago. I removed power to that inline fuel pump and the truck ran the same with it off. (Just did that for testing purposes)

Do you have a part number or location where i could get the fuel pump you recommended?

thanks again for all the help!

If you unhook the power to the in-line pump. Wouldn't that cause a restriction?
I don't know, never ran an in line one.

I run 2 Walbro's in my truck. This is about the cheapest place to get one.

YES, if the inline pump has no power or has failed then it will be causing a restriction

since your starting on the fuel susyem anyway, see if you can finda set of 42# (lightning/Harely truck) or 39# ('03-'04 cobra) injectors and a ford SVT 90mm MAF

then have your truck tuned, it made a world of difference on mine VS the FMU
