Quote: blue, I think you need to find another dyno. Yes, the Mustang dyno's read lower but if you add 8 to 10%, that'll put your torque over 500 ftlbs. I find that hard to believe for a stock 8 psi blown motor.
The dyno he was on was a dynojet. Not a Mustang dyno.

No, they type of dyno i was on was a MUSTANG DYNO, which read low. This has nothing to do with the type of car the shop works on. So if you were on a dynojet you will be basically the same on another dynojet.

A better time with a
smaller roots blower and less boost
compared to a larger twin screw with more boost
in a much heavier supercrew
loaded with mods (including a baby seat)
riding on 22"s
using crappy California gas
one word......

Priceless
Huh? With traction I'll see mid 13s. You dont have to believe me, but when I can afford the drag radials I'll post up a mid 13 second run. So you ran a 14.0 flat against a 10PSI whipple that ran 14.3 which is the slowest 10PSI any brand I have ever seen on this site. Your also the only guy I've seen on this site with supposedely 430RWHP that also isnt running 13's. Many guys even 4x4's with large tires are running mid 13s with around 415-430RWHP. Now I'm not saying you didnt run a 14 flat cause I saw that with my own eyes. Also if I recall you showed me a dyno graph where you made 430RWHP. All I'm saying is your truck apparently has a problem because heavier trucks run faster with the same power.

Now I may be wrong but I would guess the smaller Magnacharger gets heatsoaked alot quicker then the ported but same size Roushes in the 13s and would obviously have alot more heating issues the a twinscrew due to the design.

Perhaps you should look into better cooling? I dunno what the deal is with your truck honestly.

Said it before, next time ur in AZ hit me up, Ill run ya.

You really need to sort your information, read it again and if you feel you understand it, then post.
In the video
1. The Ford Racing Truck (Badillo of Prodrive/Badillo) 2006 F150 4x4 Supercab running a 10PSI whipple ran 14.0
2. Mab351 2005 F150 4x4 Supercab running the 7PSI Powerworks stock tune ran 14.3

Can't speak for the Whipple truck on tune but it was at 10 PSI so I'm sure it was a modified version of their base release and we both were running cat-back exhaust systems. My truck was running the stock tune at 7 PSI. Both of us were running in 4x4 mode which is why the trucks launch so well.

There were differences in the trucks also such as I have a fiberglass one piece bed cover where they had an open bed and I definately out weigh their driver by a good 50lbs. On the other hand, they were runnng stock wheels and tires where I was running light weight aluminum wheels and good tires. All in all they were really close, and we all had a great time running those big ol' cows down the track. The guys in the Ford Racing camp are really good guys and we can all easily play in the same sandbox together.
3. My 2005 F150 4x2 Supercrew running the 7PSI Powerworks tune ran 14.08 back in late 2006

4. We were talking about turbos and the dyno graph was 512RWHP up from 436RWHP on my 300zx

5. And like I said before , How much ya got?

Oh I also need to do a honda roll start LOL. I dont have traction unless we start around 15MPH.

What you need to do is learn to drive your truck.
Then you won't have to punk out with a bunch of excuses after talking @#$% about others trucks, hard work (mine, Rafas, etc.) and things you have no clue about.

LOL "learning to drive" and "having no traction" have nothing to do with eachother. Also, rafa didnt do anything on his own truck, he paid someone else to do it. That isnt hard work at all. Maybe he works hard at his own job who knows. What work have you actually done on your own truck?

I'm 100% positive that if you drove my truck, that you couldnt get it to hook up at WOT on a launch.

But a 15MPH roll wouldnt matter for you anyway right? Your truck is so much faster then mine anyway, plus you have more work done to it so that shouldnt matter.

I know mine will not hook up at all even at the track from idle will spin and at any good track you have to have a truck with ***** to do that. Just about any Roush supercharged truck is gonna out run a magancharged truck. I have not seen too many f150 crew cabs run faster than mine

Exactly, I dont hook at all. In drews 14.08 run his wife had a 2.0 60 foot. In my 14.5 I had a 2.2-2.3 60 foot. When I get some DR's and pull out some 1.8 60' times I'll be in the 13s on stock whipple tune and no extra mods other then dual exhaust.

Those Troyer upgraded roush kits are no joke.

Drews truck is tuned and and more modifications then I do. He weighs a little more being 4 door and im just extended cab. He should be able to just come and easily take my $100 bucks. Even if it is from a 15MPH roll.
