Need ProCharger Help!!!

Ok im getting a ProCharger D-1SC w/ the 2 core intercooler, 42lb injectors, high flow inline fuel pump, and SCT 90mm MAF. Im going to be installing this myself. What do I need to know before trying to tackle this. Any helpful hints or anything would be great! I am also going to be getting it dyno tuned after the installation with the SCT XCal 2 that I already have.

Take your time with the install. I did my install in phases over the course of a few days...fuel pump, intercooler, then head unit. Install the fuel pump on the inside of the frame rail under the fuel filter using rubber grommets. Is this a new-in-the-box kit from ATI or something used? If new then read over the instructions from ATI carefully but be prepared that somethings should either be done differently or the instructions don't match what you have (wiring up the relay for the in-line pump for instance). Have some spare SS washers for the head unit bracket to shim for proper belt tracking. Have a friend handy to help put the belt on (if it isn't a PIA to install then it's probably too big). Buy an extra belt too and keep it in the truck. Pay a lot of attention to the belt tensioner procedure. Got gauges? If not then get a good setup like Autometer. Fuel Pressure, Boost, and transmission temp. Many suggest AFR gauge but it's nothing but a pretty light show unless you have a driver for it. Innovate Motorsports has some of the best wideband gauges and datalogging tools.

On mine? None. Put a B&M deep pan and a Factory Tech Valve Body in it at the same time as the supercharger.

take your time and measure twice before you cut the fan shroud for the tubing everything else is bolt right in place, I took 4 days to install mine but I only worked it about an hour and a half to two hours a day

I have a factory tech valve body in mine as well with the modified springs and it's still going strong...

these might help you out

this is where I mounted my power steering tank

here is the best vacuum source for your boost guage and bypass valve

it's on the passenger side of the TB elbow

is your kit brand new or used? if it's used check the bypass valve prior to installation mine was leaking pretty bad and I replaced it with a faster reacting one and it made my truck a lot better to drive

it's worth every penny I promise the low end gains over the ATI "provalve" were well worth it

also if you can find a "MADs" intake or "MADs" Crank pulley ****** them up

the low restriction intake is good for 1.5-2 psi with the 8# pulleys

please post up some pics of your engine bay, I'm interested in the shock hoops for my green truck

they've been discontinued per his website

Mine is the last one he ever sold...

His coil packs are incredible and his supplier stopped carrying the parts he needed to make the low restriction intake and with everyone screaming for positive displacement superchargers the market wasn't there for the 3# crank pulley so he stopped making them.

the only way your gonna find either intake or 3# crank pulley is used from someone parting out thier system
