I've got Eaton and you will see closer to 500 ft/lbs. I tow my horse trailer on hilly roads, set the cruise at 70mph (about 2200 rpm) and never take the truck out of overdrive nor does it downshift. Running 4R70W, 3.73 gears with 285/50x20 tires. This thing make good torque down to 1800 rpm's. To pass car on the highway I just take it out of overdrive and lightly add gas. Downshifting is a little to abrupt and waste gas.

The ebay one is a non starter. The F150 one is better but even that is not complete. If you go to MAD's site you can get a list of parts. If you email me I will send you instructions. I worked with MAD for some unique parts, but was able to get a lot of the parts used off of the Lightning (NLOC) and Harley (NHTOC) forums. I did howver start witht the blower/intake assembly just like the one in the F150 ad. These are new takeoffs. Excellent price. There are a lot of pieces required to do this conversion, but its well worth it. Parts are getting scare since 2004 was the last year of the Lightning, 2003 for HD's.

king ranch, listen man, your total cost si depending on what kind of deals you can find and if you find a complete kit it'll be too expensive your taste. so buy it piece by piece or whatever pieces you can find and shop around.

the kit in the classifieds is a decent start but a bit pricey, I'd try to talk that guy down

I have a centrufigal charged and a eaton charged truck. for what you want get the eaton m112 (lightbning/harley swap) otherwise you'll hate it.

p.s. boost cost gas mileage so if your WOT you'll get less mileage that if your drive it nicely

Having done the L/HD swap, I can tell you that Ford made a lot of changes to the truck, more than you can imagine. Unless you can find a wrecked truck, you need to seriously look at the https://www.f150online.com/forums/pa...-sc-parts.html This is a brand new never been run blower assembly. From the Intake on up through the throttle body, incuding the 42lb injectors and coils.

If you go to the Lightning or Harley forums, you will find blowers for several hundred, but that does not include all the sensors/brackets/bots/wires/vacuum lines/intake/intercooler/EGR/throttle body etc. The above start is the way to go. Yes, you can get some indivdual parts, as I did. So I was able to get a used fan shroud, heat IC heat exchanger, lower pulley, MAF, Air Box, possible pulley tensioer/bracket, etc. But even I still had to by a lot of little parts. MAD has put togehter a kit that would be compatible with the above ad, it does not replace it those. I went to MAD for the alternator/bracket/bolts, the IC water pump and the fan spacer. Bought hoses (1-radiator and 1-heater) new, fuel pump, accelerator & crusie control cable/bracket new.

Still well worth it. I spent about $2600 with tune and I got away cheaper then some. L/HD have different ECM so whoever you use needs to know the differences. There are additional lessons learned from those of us who have done. Like wil the engine harness plug in, which MAF, one or two fuel pumps, caged or non caged pulleys, how much boost, etc.

And no I'm not trying to sell this blower.
