whats the best supercharger?
my ATI bypass valve was leaking 2-3 psi and not allowing my truck to make boost until 3000rpms, I replaced it with a 25mm racing bypass valve for a turbo WRX allows me to make boost instantly as soon as I touch the pedal, at idle it flutters which makes for better fuel mileage and awsome low end power, I got it on recomendation from a guy i met on another forum that sees 11-12 psi with a 3 core innercooler on a 4.6, his 4.6 will out run a stock harley davidson F-150. My supercab, 8psi pullied p1sc, 2 core innercooler, 5.4 with 3.55 gears will pull on a 350z from a roll.
I'm seeing around 10 psi with a stock lower pulley and a 3.70 upper
if I was you I'd get a used procharger, swap to a good bypass valve and add a shift kit to your transmission and then start building a motor for later.

Yeah I have the Kenne Bell with a water/meth injection setup, and I LOVE IT! I used to run the Powerdyne bd11a setup (non intercooled) and it didn't perform nearly as good as my KB! All in all, you get what you pay for. I use my truck for towing my 23 ft. toyhauler into the dunes (in pretty deep sand) with no problems. I also have 37" xterrain tires, 10" of lift, and 4.88 gears all around.

I am using the TurboXS RBV-H34

Both of these bypass valves do the exact same thing the only difference is inlet/outlet size. The good thing about this valve is that it flutters at low RPM which puts more load on the blower and you build a little more boost at a lower RPM. Not to mention the stock procharger valve will leak all of your boost at low RPM. I also gained about 1.5 pounds of boost up top.
My truck is a 4.6L with 3core intercooler on the stock pulleys. I used to see about 9.5 pounds, maybe 10 sometimes. With the new valve I see 11 pounds. My truck with 42# injectors, Lightning MAF and a mail order tune will outrun a stock harley davidson F-150. I know this because my father has one.
the hoses are the ATI hoses, the assembly i showed the picture of replaced the stock ATI bypass valve.

Ok so it looks like you used some PVC to rig up a way for it all to wrok. Do you hhave info on that and a installed pictures.
Are the outlet and inlet sizes on this one the same as the ATI? I can make this work if so wihtout any of the odd adpaters you seem to be using.

Also does this price look to be what you guys paid for yours?

make sure you guys get the RBV-H34 the 25 series valve will cause issues
I put another 40K miles on it. Never leaked. Was still going strong when I sold my Expy.
You are supposed to change the oil every 6K miles. It's sort of a PITA because you have to remove the head unit (takes about n hour). I think if you do this like you're supposed to, it should last a good ling time.
