Heat Exchanger

Im doing some preformace mods to the engine and I want to get a stock lightning heat exchanger. (Witch would be an upgrade from the stock magnacharger one)

But first I need to know what size the hose connectors are on the lightning exchanger. to see if I need a different hose's

Also has anyone used a stock lightning 01-03 heat exchanger on a 01 4wd?? (I'm shure your out there) Will it mount up with no mods to the stock lightning brackets is there mounting holes there already or do I need to drill ?? any pics of your install ??

Thanks for any help

well i think me and JMC and Built are the few with 4x4 and i dont recall built using a facotry heat exchanger? me and JMC didnt use the stock location, i think we both have winch's lol.
either way, the e-bay replacement (same quality as ford mfg) runs 3/4?

if u check out my thread in engine forum you'll see where i put mine.

It should work in the stock location.
It did on my 03.
Pretty sure the 97s are different then 99 up.

I would upgrade the inter-cooler tank/reservoir at the same time if I were you.
