Which stock production manifolds or headers will work the best on a 2000 5.4. I've tried to figure out a way to flip the stock manifolds but that won't clear the accesories. I've also been told that the 04-05 mustang gt shorties will work flipped forward. I'd like to confirm that before droping $400. I'm wanting to build my own custom front mount single setup. I have access to SS welders and pipe benders. Any info is welcomed. Thanks.

 

I'm having the same problem, but also the problem with a front mount setup is I can't find any space to run the 3" downpipe, so it looks like I will be doing a remote mount. But what ever you can get to clear the A/C is what I would go with, I don't know if thats possible without some custom manifolds made, but I wouldn't use headers.
