Ok so whats the best supercharger you can get for a 2004 F150 with a 5.4? ATI seems nice with the 3 core intercooler, however Im also looking at whipple. out of all the brands out there, who makes the best for just hauling ***. I dont tow rarely and use the bed ever so often.

Roush makes the best "complete" kit out there

 

Whipple hands down, especially if you're not worried about the warranty.

 

For a truck I think you would be better of with a roots or twinscrew.
Good bottom end power to get a big heavy truck moving.
Roush or Whipple are both very nice kits!

I like the looks of the Whipple and it puts down 400+rwhp and tq from what I have seen. The newer F150's are HEAVY so they need as much low end as they can get...stick with a postive displacement SC!!

The Roush kit is a nice complete kit. I ran a 14.56 best time with the stock Roush tune. It is a well thought out kit which uses a seperate drive belt.

The whipple may appear to put down better numbers but that is after you remove the speed limiter in order to get those numbers. Magnacharger is also another good kit and then there is a Trilogy kit.

I would stay with a positive displacemnet what ever you do unless you are in a regular cab configuration then you can gget away with the centrifigul super chargers.

 

Whipple works well and the kit is complete and easy to install. I think all of them have speed limiters but are easy to alter. Rolling over 120mph is no problem if you want to go fast. Main thing is that driveability is much improved without beating the crap out of the thing. It scoots nicely without getting into + boost. The things a ball at stoplights!

 

It always comes down to the 1/4 mile I'll toss mine out there 13.6

 

True........so lets say you moved here to California with 91octane gas and no long tubes

 

Ahhh a plus of being in the military I dont ever have to change my tag's or registration no matter where I move too

but what about the change in octane from 93 to 91 which is closer to 90.5 than the stated 91
