see the price difference between the 4.6 mustang kits and the 5.0 mustang kits?

there might be a reason behind that, check your exhaust manifold bolt patterns/sizes before you buy a kit for 5.0 mustang and expext it to bolt onto a 4.6 or 5.4 modular engine
AH HA! now i know. this why i joined the forum. would the 4.6 manifolds bolt up? thanks for the info on the kit. that coulda been a head ache.

best thing to do would be to find someone show has a 4.6/ 5.4 2 valve exhaust manifold laying around and trace the flange that meets the headthen do the same for the 5.0/5.8 and compare them. The reason I am concerned about them being interchangeable is because all the aftermarket header companies advertise different headers for the 5.0/5.8 and the 4.6/5.4
and it seems like you are on a tight budget and 700 bucks in wrong parts could be devistating to your project, REMEMBER when it comes to modular motors the 32 valve heads have different patterns than the 16 valve heads as well...

Three words: it won't fit. 4.6 has a different bolt pattern than a 5.0
