How can this be done? Installing the Saleen S331 gauge pod kit on 04+ F150's

I was just wondering if anyone here has successfuly installed the Saleen gauge pod kit on their 04+ 150's? I just finished talking on the phone to a tech at the Saleen headquarters about buying and installing the Saleen gauge pod kit on my truck (I will be installing my whipple kit sometime next week) and he told me since the kit was specifically designed just for the Saleen twin-screw setup, that it won't work with other brands of superchargers without doing some major modifications. The tech e-mailed me the pdf installation manual for the gauge pod kit, so if anyone wants to check it out to see how it's installed on a Saleen twin-screw setup, PM me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had a WRX STI gauge pod graphed into my F-150's dash.

Do you have any pictures of your finished setup? I suppose I could do it the lazy way and just buy a standard full A-pillar that fits two or three gauges on it and just hook that up. But I'm still hoping that someone on here has done the Saleen gauge pod kit setup and made it to work with their non-Saleen supercharger kit. The Saleen gauge pod setup just looks so nice.

Why would the guage pod have anything to do with what supercharger you're running?

According to the Saleen tech that I talked to at Saleen's headquarters, he told me that the gauge pod kit was specifically engineered just for the Saleen twin screw setup and that major modifications would have to be made to the Saleen gauge pod for it to work with other supercharger brands/models.

A boost gauge runs off of vacuum/boost which is the same on all forced induction. What is the second gauge? if it is air inlet temp then there may be a issue with tapping into the IAC circuit on your truck. Dont know why it wont work would need to see the install instructions.

I believe the second gauge is the air coolant temp gauge.

To order Saleen products, you have to call Saleen's headquarters in California.

Have you tried Whipple or Ford Racing to see if they have similar gauge setups and instructions to match?

Just an idea - hope you get this figured out, I'm doing the same thing. However, I am little further behind in the purchasing arena.

Good luck!
