lightning intercooler

Hi guys, would any body know the dimensions of the stock intercooler. What else could be used in its place? I'm putting a L motor into a 99 4x4 and need all the little stuff that goes with it. Want to collect everything before doing the actual swap. I will have many questions, so thanks in advance for the help that I'm sure I'll get. Thanks...Karl

Hi, I have the Lightning blower setup on my 99 Expedition and ...

...I dont even have the intercooler in it. I'm running the 6 lb. Pulley found on Harley SC units. It runs just fine. Many companies run Eaton superchargers at 6 to 8 lb with no intercooler. BUT, if you plan on more mods or more boost you will need the intercooler. Feel free to ask me any questions via. email would be quicker. I just dont get back to all the forums I'm on regularly. Send me a list of what you have already, their might be some things you forgot? Like waterpump, throttle and alt brackets, alt, etc.

I just realized that I might have mis understood you, By intercooler did you mean the part within the intake manifold or the part in the front of the vehicle? If you ar refering to the part in the front then you could brobably get one on the NLOC forum where you can also find out about aftermarket replacements.
