Is air filtration less or more important for supercharged engines than for NA engines?

If more particles get through, what happens to the supercharger?

If it's intercooled, the particles can stick to the oil that already builds up on the intercooler... causing pre-mature "clog" up......

Other than that... unless you chasin' somebody down a gravel road... I'd say you'd be alright.
