Supercharger...

I want to supercharge my 02 F150 BOSS 5.4. I have decided the easiest way to do this would be to either get my hands on a lightning or harley davidson F150 motor and simply remove the supercharger from there and put it into mine. Since my truck and these trucks have the same GT 40 heads, I should just be able to put the supercharger in no problem. My question is does anyone know where i might be able to find a supercharger from a lightning or harley F150 for under 2k?

Give Mike Dunn a call also if you are serious about it. He knows his stuff and is a great guy to work with. He can get you everything you need to complete the job.

you can find the hole intake assembly on ebay sometimes.

not really. if you're going to do all that, go for a custom block. the 5.4 you have right now will hold up to just about anything, just the tranny sucks. get a new stall converter, upgrade trannies, and take the 3.55 rear end out and put in 4.10 gears. it's worked miracles for me.

also, if you need ANY kind of info on the truck, let me know. i've got all the specs, paint codes, what ever you need.

okie dok, i have them at home and will get them tonight. just don't break any parts of the kit, since la west went out of business, the body kits are ridiculously expensive.

the s/c setup can be gotten for under $2k. it's the rest of the stuff that adds up too. that was my price plan, but after accessories and install and everything else that goes with it, i was up over $4k.
