Alright, new here and looking for help.

Hey guys. I have a 2003 5.4L extended cab and I was wondering the basics on supercharging it. Should I get a complete kit with intercooler and what are some good prices? Also, is there anything I need to worry about when I install it? And any other info you want to throw at me. Thanks.

To make a long story short, the positive displacement blowers, i.e. Whipple, Eaton, will make great low end power. Great for smoking the tires and towing. The centrifugals, i.e. Procharger, Paxton, Vortech make their power in the upper rpm ranges, not so great for smoking tires, ok for towing, great for racing. Both should be intercooled for safety and performance. Both are fun as

I have used both roots and centrafusal (sp?) I used the Kenne Bell on my 02 mustang gt, and the Procharger p1sc on my truck and I have to say I've had ALOT more fun with the procharger. Its nice that its compleatly by its self uses its own oil (no tapping oil lines for it) and the power is amazing, I'm running 10psi right now and with a 305 tire I can spin them 1-3 gear. Good luck and hope this helps with you deciding.
