Best SC for 07 AWD HD F-150
Best SC for 07 AWD HD F-150
I wonder if all of you could comment on which system to install on the wifes new 2007 F-150 Harley AWD.
No concern with warranty.
Need good power
Run Mid grade fuel
full drivability
Beat a Tundra
So far I have considered Trilogy & Whipple systems.

I'm not aware of any SCs that will run well on midgrade gas. Premium seems to be standard.
My Whipple is so smooth, you'd swear my truck is stock until you step on it. So, drivability is excellent with that kit. I have no experience with Trilogy.
Do a search for "AWD" to get some good info about dyno-testing AWD vehicles.
Good luck,
Lee

Mid-grade fuel means backing-out of the timing, killing power.
I think all of the roots blowers are comparable to one another, as are the twin-screws.
Output differences come down to the tune...which is a moot point if you get a custom dyno-tune.

I'm very happy with my Trilogy. Runs great and looks good! Lots of low-end torque and power. If you go with the blower only, the stock tune is fine. If you have anything else done, take it to Lidio and he'll dial you in for whatever you want.
I went roush but it looks like the triology is also useing the eaton also. i have no clue to which will allow you to run midgrade fuel though. I thought that everyone one had to have premium. I have even seen some post where people are adding fuel additives to increase the octane. but if you do get a midgrade burning system, post the dyno results because i would love to save a few dollars a tank the way gas prices are. And to think I brought the 35 gallon tank option lol

Very nice Trilogy did Lidio at Alternative do this? He did my Marauder and yes he is the master everyone brags about.
I am wondering if anyone has AWD dyno so i can get the rear wheel numbers?
FYI
Also I see Ford Racing offers Whipple for F-150's now same "list" price as I was quoted direct from Whipple.......And who pays list so maybe the purchasing power from Ford will help lower the cost.
Keep the post comming I think us AWD guys need to know who makes the best S/C for our trucks.
Anyone with a bad experience?

Trilogy made the kit, Lidio did the tune, Claude/Chuck installed the kit locally. However, both Lidio and Jerry had AWD F150's with this kit and loved it.
I first saw the kit when Lidio used his Trilogy F150 to tow his Mustang down to FFW Orlando a couple years ago. He raved about it and I had to have one.
I don't have any dyno numbers from my vehicle and I do not have AWD (limited slip instead), but at 9.5lbs of boost, it makes excellent power.

Whipple it is
Got a great deal on a Whipple through a Ford Racing distributer.
Whipple now makes them for Ford and they were cheaper than buying direct.
Alternative (Lidio) will be doing the install after he moves into his new way larger facility next month.
Can't wait to see what the 4WD will do under WOT
