Eaton M90 ?
Eaton M90 ?
A guy I know is selling a eaton M90 charger for cheap. I was thinking about putting it on my 2000 5.4, however I cannot find any information on this charger or what it would take...
Any suggestions?

If not it's not worth messing with. You will need way to many parts to make it work.
You would be better off doing this! Check it out.

Do you have to have all that stuff to complete the charger?
Basically this is just my old truck. I have a mustang for a race car and was wondering if I could slap a charger off a lightning on it and just go from there without much hassle and cheaply.
For $2800 I can get a new killer set of heads...

You have to have all the parts + a custom tune.

M90 on a 5.4 isn't a good fit IMHO, too small.
Look at the dyno sticky...decent torque but HP isn't great.
For the same amount of work (maybe less) put a Lightning blower on it...or a different blower.

Lightning kit for less
Hi,
You can do this for less than what I saw in that link. Keep in mind if you are willing to keep it too 5-6 psi. The intercooler is not a must. You will need the Lightning SC unit, lower manifold mid plate (intercooler housing)NOTE: SC lower manifold and mid plate must match in years,99-00,01-04, upper plenum,TB, tensioner bracket ,harmonic balancer, lower SC pulley "caged", a Harley upper pulley,a single 255lph fuel pump, a FMU#8 or #10 disk.
I'm doing it myself, and I have done poss. displacement blowers on nat. asspired vehicles of mine before. Granted going the FMU route is the Low-tech caveman way of going, but it works.
If your interested in proceeding, I strongly recomend the "NLOC" website.you can get great deals on many peoples take off parts.
If you want I can start you on the way with two parts,
a Upper Lightning plenum, and a crankshaft SC pulley with cage.
send me an email if so.
