Supercharged Windsor

I have a 1978 F150 with a 351 Windsor in it. I want to get some more power out of it. The engine is only 30,000 miles on it. I was wondering if anyone knew or had any thoughts on supercharging it? Thanks.

Is it still carbed? If so go for a Weiland (sp?)or similar top mount roots. The other options would be a custom job, a centrifigal with a blow thru carb hat. Final option would be a turbo but that gets even more complex. What are your power goals? You could easily get 450hp out of that engine without a blower at all, good heads, cam, intake, and carb. From a drivability standpoint and probably cost, this would be the best solution IMHO.
