who makes a good turbo kit?

who makes a good turbo kit?

i have a lifted truck and i four wheel so im lookin for somethin where i wouldnt get mud and water in the filter. Lookin at the squires kit but the filter just seems like it would be in a problem spot. THe pro turbo kit looks nice but just a little bit to expensive. Help please!

The pro turbo kit is the way to go. sts turbo is nice for on road only. Your not going to find anything cheaper unless you do it your self, and fab up your own headers.

Any good ways to go about it by myself? And i have no idea how to work with metals and stuff and dont have tools either. so i think me fabricating it myself wont work. Will a single turbo create to much heat in the engine compartment?

no, heat in the engine compartment is the last thing you need to worry about. http://www.proturbokits.com/store/sc...?idproduct=129 that is what you need.

what do you think the gains will be around 4 or 5 psi?

dam! thats pretty good. will i have to make any mods to keep my truck as my daily driver? its got like 100,000 miles on it

alrite so ill start savn up. so before i go i have two more ?'s. will it weaken my tranny at all? and how much for labor? youve been a lot of help thanks

well any power increase will cause quicker wear on the tranny, but really nothing to worry about, 4-5psi isnt much, but it will make very nice power. If you had someone do the install, i would figure several hundred... Where are you located?
