Supercharger & E-fans?

Anybody installed the FAL 270 fans and a Whipple S/C on their truck? I'm having a tough time with the fan install. Problem is the resevoir and hoses.

I guess no one has come across this combination yet. Guess I'm first at something.

Check with RAFA, I think he has efans on his. I still have the "windmill".

Unless he's changed them, I think he has Troyer's. I went with the FAL because of ease of install (existing factory mounts, etc.) I didn't even think about compatability issues with the S/C. I guess I have an e-fan for sale now. Never fired, only dropped once!

you might want to look at the "flex a lite" dual fans with shroud and it mounts in place of old shroud.even comes with bracket to mount inter cooler res.

If the one you are talking about is not the 270 model, please give me the part #. Here's the email reply I got from FAL:

Hello,
The installation of our FAL fan in this application was designed to fit
with all of the OE accessories. The installation of aftermarket accessories
with the FAL fan may require some modifications. Yes, other customers have
called in with this issue but I have not received a phone call back with any
solution.

I still holding out hope that somebody here has come across the same situation and just not bothered to inform Bob @ Flex-a-lite

Whats messing you up? I don't no much about the efans, last ones I had were on a small block jeep conversion. Is it removing the stock shroud and mounting the Whipple tank back?

Yes, that's part of it. The hoses are also in the way. Looks to me the only way to solve this, is to do some fabrication.
