Actually they can be manipulated a number of ways. Different correction factors or none at all, air in tires, placement of tires on rollers, air to truck, rpm at beginning of pull, calibration of said dyno.

A Mustang dyno is more accurate than a dynojet but even then it's hard to compare 2 different dyno's in two different locations, ran by 2 different people with 2 different trucks.

Actually the 99-00 L's only dyno'd that low stock, once a better tune was installed (stock was pig rich) they show more like 03-04 tuned numbers. Remember these numbers were on stock tunes. Nothing beats a dyno tune!
And you have 2 more psi.

Yeh, that's why I thought my numbers evidently appear to be in line with what a stock Lightning will do. I guess I shouldn't expect anymore.

Thanks,

Jim

While your numbers may appear to be low, your torque number is very high. I think gearing has something to do with this...perhaps it was in second gear instead of third, I believe a lower gear will give more torque and less HP...or do I have that backwards?

Hey guys come on............this was a thread about the results of a dyno on an 06 F150... Yes the L's are awsome trucks... but there is tons of information on many websites and forum threads. Those of us with the new 04-06 F150's don't have the luxury of instant info, facts, what works and what doesnt like you guys. So when a thread goes off topic for us.. IT DIES..

I welcome all the help in the world from you guys since supercharging the 04-06 F150's is still new territory not only for us owners but also those who make the systems.....
my thoughts only
