Question P 1000 code ???

Hey all,
long time reader, second or third time poster,
I upgraded my procharger from the Psic to the F1, and just finished sumping the fuel tank, along with 2 walbro 255l pumps twined together, I have plenty of gas and plenty of air - however I can't get it to start - after downloading the custom program. i get the P1000 code ... After searching the forum I learn it's a code about monitor testing incomplete, ( which I suppose the truck needs to learn about itself) so I downloaded some instructions on how to clear the code and it requires driving ... well I cant get mine to start, does anybody any suggestion or have had previous experience with this I would greatly appreciate it
Cheers

The P1000 means you haven't completed an OBDII trip. There is no way to really force it to happen. The monitors are designed to complete during normal driving which includes some stop and go, light load and steady state cruise. There is also a soak timer which requires the engine to be off for a certain period of time before the system resets and will attempt to run all of the tests again. The hardest test to complete is the purge monitor because there are a lot of factors involved including temperature at start-up and fuel level. Just be patient, that is not a failure code of any kind and will not affect any performance or driveability and it will eventually disapear. Any other P code means you DO have a problem. Be aware that if you unhook your battery or disconnect your ECU that code will automatically come back.

Once you get the code issue sorted out let us know what kind of numbers that F1 puts out.

Well I still can't get it started, it started before with the old program(psic 9-10# boost) Then i pulled the old chip, connected the tuner and downloaded the program. now it wont start - can smell lots of gas. I topped up the tank with permium and charged the battery all day yesterday, the problem is my tuner guy is away on holidays for all of next week. So my truck is together but wont start (very sad).
I know that driving will reset this P1000 code but what do you do if you have this code but can't get it running ?
PS - my tuner guy says he just finished a 'Bullit' setup like mine, and were expecting between 500 - 570 RWHP
once it's running and fine tuned
Cheers

That P1000 code won't keep your truck from starting, your problem is else where. have you checked fuel pressure before you crank it? Cycle the key are record the pressure. If you've got fuel then there is something else.

yes I have fuel pressure, 20 psi static, I can smell gas when it's turning over. it started when it had the old chip in it - that program was set for 45 lbs injectors the psic at 9 lbs boost, we now have the F1 with a 4.0 pulley so maybe 12 lbs boost (don't know forsure) 60 lbs injectors - so once I pulled the old chip. I downloaded the new program, and it wont fire now, so I'm kinda lost because the tuner guy is on holidays all next week. It's killling me.
I appreaciate all your advise and tips
thank you
