Should it do that?

I just got my truck back after having a Roush Supercharger installed at the Roush Ford dealership here. When I start it the engine seems to take a second to catch before it starts up. Before the supercharger it would start up without any hesitation.

Is this normal? Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. It seems like there is no gas for a second. It seems to stutter then finally starts.

Thanks again.

I got it installed at Ken Grody Ford. They are a Roush dealer. It seems to have stopped after driving it for a day. But I will check and see if it happens when the engine is cold.

I'll let you know. Was just curious if it was something that was common with supercharges since this is my first one.

Thanks

If you dont mind me asking, what was the total price with the install and tune from the dealership. I know having a supercharger installed through a dealer keeps there from being warranty issues.

I paid $5300 for the intercooled Roush with a custom tune after it was installed.

Then I paid the dealer 1320.00 to install. Found a Ford Roush dealer and paid a little more then I would have going somewhere else. But since I take my truck there for service I won't have any problems with the warranty.

Any other questions, let me know.
