Roush supercharger and intercooler installed

I just got back from the dealer after having my Roush intercooled supercharger installed. I have not been on it due to having a half a tank of 87 that I have to burn thru before I fill up with 93. If I get on it a bit I hear pinging so I will have to wait. So far does not seem all the quick to me but then again I have not gotten on it and not done WOT yet?

Any advice? Should I let the 87 burn out or fill it with 93 and mix with the 87?

I wouldn't risk it. But I would think adding some 93 ASAP would be better than waiting to just burn the 87 down.

Is your tune set for 91 or 93?

Looks awesome! How much did it cost at dealer? Does it change warranty? I can't wait to hear how it does with High Octane fuel. Let us know. it looks great? Do you have any exhaust mods on your ride?

Basically ford voids my powertrain warranty and Roush picks it up for 3years 36,000 miles. No exhaust mods yet. I am still looking for a nice setup to use but dont want the 2 pipes shooting out the back.

Congrats on the SC install. I'd reccommend Corsa for your exhaust. All stainless a nd guarenteed not to drone. Get the sport system if you want something authoritive, the Touring if you want something more mellow. Check it out here.

Didn't notice much of a difference??? Holy cow. Get some 93 in there and let the good times roll. What is happening, when the 87 in there, the computer is retarding the hell out of the timing to prevent detonation and that's where all your power is going.

got down to less than a half a tank so I filled up with 93. Tanks took about 18 gallons on 93 so that must be mixing with the 87. Well I noticed the pinging has all but gone away and the pickup is improved. I can light up the rear tires now if I floor it.....lol very smooth power transition and almost un noticable in regular stop and go traffic.

So far I am impressed
