Talking Roushcharger installed...finally!

I finally got the Roushcharger and Troyer e fans put in last week. It took a 12 hour trip to Virginia where Troyer is and 3 days of work but it's finally done. This is the 1st time Mike and crew put these 2 items on the same vehicle and a bit of fabrication was needed for the cooling reservoir. Maybe Discovery should make a show about them!

I am VERY happy with the results. 0-60 in 5 seconds and 60 -105 in another 5. With the Roush tune in place, the speed is CAPPED at 105 but when Mike gets me the Xcalibur with his custom tunes (no caps baby), well...***** to the walls! At 105 MPH I was running at 2900 RPM. It was 94 degrees on the drive home and long hauls at 90+MPH saw the temp guage frozen. It never moved until I got home and cooled off.

My truck is a ******ing rocket now. Who says NASA is the only game in town! I'm at Roush Stage 3 and Houston...we had a good burn! COPY THAT!

Is this the intercooled or non-intercooled kit? Have you got any dyno niumbers on it?

Im guessing its intercooled since his 0-105 mph is about 10 secs.

Talking

It's the intercooled all right! The fab work was to get the coolant reservoir to fit with the 16" fans. Mike Troyer did a clean job making the mounting brackets and cutting the radiator cover. You have to look hard to notice.

Talking No Dyno

I don't know where to go to have it done. I wanted it done at Troyer but time restraints and a 12 hour drive home prevented it. If I actually remember, I will look locally to see if there's a performance shop with Dyno equipment.
