is there a bolt on for the V6? is it worth it? I read a lot about electric fans. what can i do to add alittle more horsepower. ie. KN, intake, turbos, superchargers? Any great ideas out there? Thanks

 

i have a 4.2 that i was workin on before my current truck. as far as i know there are no supercharger or turbo kits currently available. i know several people have done custom turbos and a few have adapted t-bird superchargers to fit. but these will require alot of fabrication and knowledge. i had a nitrous setup on mine for a while, but nitrous refills are expensive and the power is not always there. if you are looking for fairly easy horsepower, i would stick with bolt on mods such as e-fans, underdrive pullies, chips, headers, intake, exhaust etc... with all the bolt on mods, u can get a 4.2 to run pretty strong
