what would you guys say is better a turbo or a sc? im gonna get one soon hopefully and just curious to see what you guys would suggest. i havent seen a turboed 4.6l v8 so i have my doubts

 

depends on preference really. if you want the low end power go with the supercharger. if you want high end power, go with the turbo. you can always go twincharged too.

Have to disagree, properly sized the turbo will out low-end almost any charger. The turbo is the superior poweradder of the two. But it is more complicated to install, alittle harder to tune, and is more expensive. If cost was no object go turbo!

 

Is Skidmark (Pilot) not making the turbo kits for the 04+ trucks? I was thinking so but I may be wrong. Lowfast is correct, the turbo is the better performer all around. You don't have the HP lose in the pulley system as a charger does. Twins would be awesome

 

For me cost WAS an issue so I went with the procharger. Its no turbo but should help with the speed addiction, sort of a methadone approach.
