Alcohol injection installed...

Well, this past weekend, I got my alcohol injection kit installed and running. I went with a dual-stage kit from Coolingmist.com. The install was clean, and pretty easy, although, I had to make a few runs to the hardware store for some different electrical connectors, and some brass fittings. I have it set to spray the first stage at 3 pounds of boost, and the second at 6. I was able to add 3 degrees of timing, and all my data looks good so far. It runs great, and that extra timing makes a world of difference. I am glad I took this route, instead of adding an intercooler to my Vortech. I am spraying a mix of 3 parts denatured alcohol, and one part water, and when it sprays, the intake actually feels very cold to the touch. The truck does not studder at all, as my charger spools up slower, so the boost only kicks in under heavy throttle. I cant wait to get to the track this weekend to see the difference on the time slip. If you guys have any questions about the kit or installation, let me know. Later. -Rob
