Gas Milage
Well, I'm not the best to base the numbers off of, seeing as I also tote around 8000#'s of weight when you combine the body, people in it, and accessories on it, but I get between 9.5 and 10 miles to the gallon. (but they are damn fast miles!)
That's what I get per gallon. I guess I wil get less than that when I install all my upgrades. That sucks with gas being over $3.00 per gallon, but you know what they say you gotta pay if you wanna play.
In my screw, Lightning swap, #42 injectors, 90mm maf, 12psi, 4.56 gears, 38X15.50R20 toyo's I can get 13mpg on the hwy. I get about 10.5 around town and when romping on it.
Now the Lightning bone stock i got 16+ on the hwy recently and about 14 around town.

I got about 14.5 this weekend at the car show. We did alot of sitting in traffic so that's not really accurate. The week before I actually got about 16.5. Not much different than stock. I'm pretty surprised myself

The guys who have the upgrades also have the tune to support them. The tune takes advantage of the 93 octane fuel that you run with blowers and advances the timing while in closed loop so, during normal driving, you actually get better mileage. The x-tra mileage most often offsets the higher price of the fuel. You have to purchase 93 octane fuels anyway when you run a blower so this is free mileage.
If you get into it, the mileage drops off significantly but that is a given.
Have fun.
