lightning swap alternator question

i done the lightning blower swap into my NA truck and also purchase the lightning alternator for it. my question is for my NA truck, the alternator cable has a voltage regulator plug. but for the lightning alternator since it has a "build in" regulator . do i just leave the plug out and let it "hang"?
also, which fuse is for the battery charging? i suspect i have a crack on the fuse or something causing my battery to sometimes charge and some time don't. ( both my battery and alternator are new)
thaks

You don't need the plug. You can tape it up or cut it off. Not sure about the fuse though.
