Finally intercooled

So I finally pieced all the crap I needed together, and after four attempts I got the damn tank I made to stop leaking. I've got to get some blower to intercooler piping, what I have periodically blows off when its hot.

But, when it wasn't blowing off pissing me off, it worked seemingly well. The boost psi dropped about 1.5 psi at WOT but the response on the interstate was amazingly good. From 70 to 90 happens in a snap, which is a lot to say for 8000 pounds. I haven't put my scanner on it yet to test the temperatures, a neighbors daughter died shortly after I did it (she's my youngest daughters godmother) so I haven't had time to screw around with it with all the other things going on, but when I do I'll update you all on how well it works. Mind you, this is a pieced together system not a buy it put it on kit. (and I couldn't get my hands on a lightning pump so I makeshifted with a boat live well pump for the meantime, which is working quite well although rather loud)

Looks good! You will get some boost back when you sort out the piping.

Got the new piping installed tonight. effing camera won't talk to the computer so I can't show the pics, but the effects I have seen already

Previously, idle air charge temp was 120` with WOT running 140` +
Now, idle temp is down to between 84-88 degrees, while WOT to 60mph runs about 98` at the hottest.

Overall, I think its quite worthwhile
