SC tune and drive shaft

1) I've seen many concerns about supplied tunes using the stock speed limiter. I understand it's for safety due to critical drive shaft speed. Back when I had my KB I told them to remove the top speed limiter, BUT I HAD TO SIGN A WAIVER releasing KB from all liabilty. I'm curious if the other companies would do the same with their supplied tunes?

2) So is the Lightning drive shaft balanced any differently than a reg F150?Does it use a thicker walled driveshaft? I know it is shorter than what a comparable regular cab has, therefore adding to the strength. The driveshaft is either aluminum or steel depending on the year.

What exactly is done to the L drive shaft to make it safer?

I believe that it's not the driveshaft you have to worry about, but the tranny. Due to the amount of vibration from the driveshaft at high speeds, you have to worry about the tranny cracking. At least this was a problem with the 4r70w, but you have the 4r100. If there is no sign of vibration at 100+, then there is probably no worry.
I had Dom leave the limiter on my procharged '02 because of that specific reason. But, I did have it removed when I removed the procharger. I did get a vibration at 100+, but never had any probs.

My '05 gives no signs of vibration at high speeds.
