8-10 is good if its intercooled. the procharger kit comes with an 8# pulley and its intercooled. thats about as much as you want to bang on it with and not have worries. you can run more, but you really have to know what you're doing and have an EXCELLENT tune.

Well I can tell you from experience that on my 99 GT I ran an S-Trim for about 2 years at 9psi and then uped to 13.5psi for about another year and a half. Took the blower off about 6 months ago, I have 110,000 mile on the Original, stock engine. And no intercooler. But I have seen on friend in hi 01 and a 8psi blow it up in a week and another friend in a bullet destroy his motor in a few months. So it all depends. So maybe I got lucky or maybe they don't know how to drive, (its also in the tune, I tuned mine with a tweecer) but I would not recommend anymore than about 8-9psi on a stock bottem end. Oh and I didn't baby it either, it has about 150 passes down the track. By the way, you looking to buy a supercharger? I have one boxed up and ready to ship!!!

The key to any boost is a GOOD TUNE and PLENTY of fuel! Usually upwards to 10 is safe.

I got a 2001 Saleen Mustang and I run a Procharger p1sc with a 8 lb pully, but I see 10lbs of bost with a 3 core intercooler on dyno. It makes 413.7 rwhp and about 450 rwtq. So that gives you some real number to base your desision on. I would stick with a 8lb pully. It is better to be safe than sorry.

It has a lot to do with the tune. If you supercharge or turbocharge and go with a package deal and use the chip on an otherwise stock configuration then you will be fine. If you add more mods and increase boost with stock motor it becomes very important to find a good tuner and have him tune for reliability firsts and power second. I presently have an '01 Bullitt GT that runs 15 psi intercooled and have 15K on the motor with a good conservative tune I am making 450 rwhp. Be prepared to spen money if you add a power adder. Once you get the power other things such as drive train and brakes require upgrading as well. Good luck.
