I am hoping to get to the dyno Wed. of next week to check things out. I missed my chance to get an appointment due to something coming up at work. Hopefully, I can get something done tomorrow.

Did you order a Polish'd unit? If you did and still got a black intercooler.. Whipple is a cheap skate.

the black unit you posted is the heat exchanger. its like a radiator for the intercooler. you have an air to water intercooler under the blower which uses the heat exhanger to cool the water.

different from an air to air intercooler like with prochargers which is mounted like the heat exchanger.

Nice post Bullit, one more question, being that way, the intercooler can not be seen right ???

you would only see the intercooler if you took the blower off and were looking straight down into the intake manifold
