My New Whipple Is Coming This Wed. And Team Jdm Will Install And Tune It Couldn't...

MY NEW WHIPPLE IS COMING THIS WEDNESDAY AND TEAM JDM WILL INSTALL AND TUNE IT, I COULDN'T...BE HAPPIER.
Hi guys, i just want to let you know that my dream it is almost complete, i talked to Chris from Whipple today and he said that my S/C will be shipped this wednesday and JDM will install and tune it probably next week, i will try to schedule an appointment for monday 13th.
First thing i will do when i get the truck back at JDM is BURN A LOT OF RUBBER, enjoy the ride from their shop in Freehold-NJ til my house in Hatboro-PA ( 60 miles one way trip )and post the Dyno numbers and graphics. We hope we can get around 440rwhp with the S/C and a few bolt-ons, tuned for Sunoco 94 gas. I hope i will be able to provide a lot of information for all the fellows looking for information about the new Whipple S/C. Thanks for all the members that spent some time answering some of my doubts and pointing me on the right direction since i made my first mod ( 4.56 Precision gears ) 2 months ago. Thanks for all.

Does that kit come with a fuel pump? If not I would look into getting one.

Whipple Superchargers have paved the way for forced induction applications over the years and truly set the industry standard when it comes to power, reliability and overall customer satisfaction. Whether your looking for a daily driver that needs a little more punch, towing heavy loads or craving a tire-frying, rubber shredding street machine, the Whipple Supercharger delivers like no other SC system today. Power from tip in to redline, the new Whipple SC system makes over 50% power across the entire rpm range while maintaining industry leading drive-ability.

The system boast a massive aluminum air-to-water intercooler designed and built by Fluidyne that mounts inside the cast aluminum long runner Whipple intake manifold that’s topped off with the W140ax Whipple Charger, the same technology that’s used on the Ford GT supercar. With 8psi of boost being forced through the intercooler, the stock engine produces nearly 475HP to the flywheel and 394 RWHP!

With years of OEM and racing experience, Whipple engineers have developed a unique PCM calibration that reconfigures all the necessary engine functions including fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, transmission control and electronic throttle control.

Systems come complete with a high-flow cold-air intake system, aluminum intake manifold and air-to-water intercooler, Ford Racing PCM reflash tool, air-bypass system and all the necessary hardware for a simple installation.

EXCLUSIVE FEATURES:
Instant boost, zero lag time for incredible throttle response
Revolutionary W140ax Whipple twin-screw supercharger
Massive aluminum intercooler, heat exchanger and reservoir system
Twin screw supercharger is the most efficient SC on the market
Exclusive cold air intake system with high flow filter
Reflashed factory PCM for industry leading reliability and operation
Self contained oil system, no tapping oil pan
Simple “do-it-yourself” installation

You won't need a fuel pump because on that kit you will run only 8psi and the stock pump will be able to handle that, if you want more boost, you will need a stronger fuel pump for sure.

You are trying to run over 400 rwhp and dont think you'll need more fuel.

Mine is due here in a couple of days. No, they do not upgrade the fuel pump or the injectors. I have trouble picturing the stock injectors pushing enough fuel for those HP numbers but I guess I will see pretty soon. I guess I will have mine dyno tuned with the stock injectors... but I will have some more injectors on hand just in case.
Had some colder plugs sent too.

Whipple is sending the plugs. I was asking Chris about the injector and fuel pump thing and mentioned colder plugs. he said they had them and I asked him to toss them in the box. I think two ranges colder. I got them from Whipple 'cause they are likely not on the shelf around here. I think we have around 24' injectors and the mustangs/L's are using something like 42's but don't quote me on that. I'll leave it to someone that knoes what he is doing.

Only people I know that has a colder ranger plugs is Autolites HT0's...

400rwhp on stock injectors.... I want to see that!

Just fyi though, the new Saleen S7 fuel pumps will support around 750hp each. They fit right into our trucks. Got one in mine and it works like a champ.

Fatherford, what kind of injectors the 5.4 3v stock engine have ? If you think they are not good enough for 400rwhp, which one do you suggest ? Thanks.

Sweet Rafa!!! I'm glad it's all finally coming together for you. I look forward to seeing your numbers and what your feeling is on the Whipple. I'll be ordering later this week or early next week. I don't get back to Vegas until the 2nd of March, so I'm still a few weeks out from getting mine on.

Did you buy from the company that I e-mailed you about, or directly from Whipple?
