What Do You Think? Ive Had A Procharger 10# On My 01 Gt But Off The Line I Was Not Impressed So Now I Kind Want Troyer To Do The Install With A Root Style. Also I Want Some 4:10 In The Rear For When I Put Those Big 35's On. I Want At Least 90 Rwhp, Is All This Possible With 7 Grand? Any Tips Or Advice Would Be Appreciated. Also I Love This Site!! I would go with the lift and bigger tires/gears.

Blowers are good but it only makes you want more

A blower is right where you need to be! Nothin beats being blown now does it?

The style of blower you are talking about is great for off the line whoop azz, but leaves some to be desired at the top end. (kind of like a hummer, its great until you have to use it for functional purposes)

For $7K you could almost get a custom twin turbo system. (I was quoted right at $10K for my 5.4) But blowers are easier to install, and easier to maintain. The procharger is a great unit, but if you really didn't like its spool up time, the roots (or twinscrew) is for you. Look into the Kenne Bell lines. Also, if you really want high boost (which a screw or roots can't get really high) look into forged internals (like a lightning block) as well.

Talk to chucksbp. He has been instrumental in where I have gone and am going with mine.

Im Not Trying To Get Crazy Hp, Im Just Trying To Get Like 300 Rwhp, I Pull A Trailer With 4 Wheelers And All My Buddies Have The 5.4, I Want To Hang With Them. Also I Want My Truck To Still Be Reliable, The Procharger Was Installed By Delk Performance In Tn. And Some Days My Stang Did Not Want To Start And The Idle Was Going Up And Down. They Tuned It Like 5 Times And Could Not Figure It Out. So Thats Why Im Thinking Of A Twin Screw From Troyer But His Kit Is Like 8 Grand And Thats With Out Install. I Want Him To Do The Instal Cuz He Has A Good Rep. I Will Be Driving From St.louis Though. So I Need Some Good Opinions! Keep Them Coming! Thanks

or should i give procharger another shot and order the excal 2 from troyer? would that be a better tune than what the shop would do? the 9# with 2 core, is like 6 grand including install. also with the charger do i need gears or can i stick with 355?

slowtruck, Trilogy Motorsports offers a 5.4L 3V supercharger kit that produces 400hp and 505 ft/lbs of torque on a conservative tune. If you would like more info, please feel free to call us at 313-336-6135 or ask away here. O yeah, ask for Jerry. He is the big man and just allowed me to offer our kit at 5% off. Thanks, and good luck.
Your could step up in gears to the 3.73 or 4.10. 3.73 are what I have on my truck and love them.

He has a 4.6 so that's out of the question.. Here is my suggestion.

Fabtech 6".. trust me after 4" you'll want more so just take the jump now. If you are going to change gears and want to run atleast 35" go with 4.56 gears. Don't kid yourself you'll want bigger down the road. These will give you more umph off the line.
I'd then look for a twinscrew or roots type blower, you can find these used for the 2V motors cheap. And regardless of what people say.. they don't fall on their face in the upper rpm they just don't keep pulling as hard like a cent. But how often to you blast over 100mph. You'll have a boat load of power off the line which is what we want in a 4x4. Look for a Kenne bell or allen/magnacharger setup.

Yes, the cabs don't matter, http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...-navigator.htm but you can find some used along with the allen setup from time to time.
