Supercharger Kit

Do they make a good supercharger kit that can be installed yourself? I am not a mechanic so I cant lift up the engine and dont want to take apart the engine.

I have $5,000 cash in hand. Where can I go in DE to have it done if I cant do it myself? I hear the Roush kit will not void my warranty if I have the dealer install it? Does this mean any ford dealer I go to will be able to install it if I buy it from them.

Thank for any and all info you could give me.

Most of the kits out there can be installed yourself. None of them require lifting the engine. If you got the right tools and some helpfull instructions, you should be able to tackle this yourself. Now, if you are looking the keep your warranty with the Roush, then you would want to have the dealer do it. If not, then I say do it yourself.
Good luck!

Centrifugal is probably the easiest to install yourself. Warranty wise, let the dealer do it!

If you want warranty look into Roush the intercooled version is best but cost more. Trilogy is promising also.. Then is seems Whipple is finally online.

Cents are good to but a roots/twinscrew is best for getting these tugs moving.. IMO

inurok,

What kind of truck do you have? If you would like, I can send you Trilogy Motorsports installation manual so you can see what a typical install would be. We typically say that someone with average mechanical ability can do the installation at home with 8-16 hours.

I tried to send it on email through your profile but it says you don't have it on there. How would you like for me to send it?
