Defeating the Roush Bypass

I have just installed the Roush Supercharger on my Screw. I can only say that the performance increase is outstanding. Any where above 3000 RPM’s hang on! From what I understand the sc has an internal bypass that dumps the pressure from the sc back to the inlet at low RPM’s to improve fuel economy during normal driving. If I could make it even better I would have two modes of operations the normal bypass mode for everyday driving, but be able to defeat the bypass on those times when I wanted blow off a little steam without having to push the pedal to the floor. I guess my question is, one can I defeat the bypass and if so how will it effect the low RPM performance

The only thing negative I have to say about getting a tune from Troyer is its not meant for your truck. Every truck is different. In my case, I live in CO at 5,000+ ft which means that any tune I buy from somewhere near sea level is absolutely useless. There are a few ways of going about what you want to do and both of them deal with getting your truck tuned on a dyno. Remember that if you custom tune your PCM you will void Roush' immediatly. What I recommend you do is pony up and spend a few extra bucks on a new PCM. That way you'll have two PCMS: one for warranty work(with Roush' program) and one programmed for whatever you want; racing, economy, etc. No matter what you decide on, the best way to gain performance is by taking your truck to a dyno and having a professional tune it right there on the spot.

Not so -
If you go with the XC2 from Troyer, the tunes are custom for your specific vehicle. They require you to furnish 5-6 pages of info about your vehicle before they do your tuning.
You can store the " stock " Rousch tune in the tuner and use one of the three supplied custom tunes, do some datalogging or dyno pulls, send the results to Troyer for further customization - no charge for 60 days from purchase.
