Then, what has to be done to get 500rwhp?

You guys all convinced me that it is not safe to reach 500rwhp on a new 5.4 3v ? My situation is that i ordered from Mike Troyer ( nice guy by the way ), the new intercooled Roush S/C (will have to wait about 60 days to get it) to install on a Lincoln Mark LT which is a very heavy truck. The new Roush intercooled version produces around 140rwhp with 6psi, then i probably will have around 395rwhp on my stock engine, not enough to do 0-60mph in less than 6 seconds which is my goal. Here comes the question:
If i want to put 15psi on the Roush, what engine parts exactly will have to be replaced like forged pistons and etc... And how much that job would cost me not including the S/C ? I am really going to appreciate if you buys can provide a complete question listing all engine parts to be replaced. Thanks a lot guys.

500whp thru an auto is very close to 700bhp which is way to high to be safe i would say dont go over 500bhp which would be around 375whp and that would proboly put you around 500wtq and the truck would be much faster than stock

if the truck is 4wd it might do 0-60 under 6 with 375whp but i really dont know for sure

at a minimum i would replace the rods and pistons as well as good bolts and studs thoughout just talk to an engine biulder and they should be able to get you what you need to make the power safely youll also need the trans upgraded

A short block will be around 4K a complete motor with head work etc around 11K. If that is your goal get a really good tune, bump up the boost to 9psi or so and get a good Nitrous kit.
