Could I be floating the heads?

Since I put the supercharger on I have noticed a constant leak from the cooling system. One at a time I have had to double band the hoses as the leak migrated. Now I have a leak in the radiator. I notice pressure will burp off the cap just about every time I drive for any distance at all. Could I be floating the heads under boost? I have read on the Lightning sites that this happens at higher boost levels. Right now I can hit 8 lbs petty easily and sometimes hit 9-10.
Can I change out the head bolts by removing them one at a time and reinstalling ARP studs and torque each one before removing the next bolt? I would hate to have to remove the heads.

I don't think that is near enough boost to lift a head without a bolt or 3 being broken. If it is the head pull the plugs and check them for water spots. if it is i suggest pulling the heads and doing it correctly!! I don't know where else you are loosing coolant if you have no leaks??

Thanks brahmus for the reply.
I loose the coolant through obvious leaks. My concern is the build up of pressure in the coolant tank that necessitates that the cap burps off the pressure after every trip. I can hear it hissing. After it stops, if I loosen the cap there is still plenty of pressure in the cooling system. There was nothing on the plugs.
The radiator is leaking from the core now so I ordered a new radiator and it is being delivered tomorrow.
I just don't know where all the pressure is coming from.

could this just be normal from heat/expansion?? Or is this something you are just noticing?? might be a good idea to flush everything while you're changing the radiator!!

there is a good flush you can get from autozone to help clean EVERYTHING out of there!! I'll see if i can dig up the name of the stuff!

I saw a Lightning getting tuned that lifted a head, spewing coolant everywhere. He was close to 600RWHP. Doesn't sound like you are at htat level though.

You can always add some of that dye stuff to your coolant, then use a blacklight to see where the leak is coming from.

The heater hose issue is very common with superchargers. When I rev the engine, mine actually expands so much it looks like a ballon! ......had to reclamp it as well.

Do you have electric fans? Some are seeing radiator leaks from attaching the fans to the radiator by plastic or metal fastners rubbing against the radiator fins.

Or you could be experiencing a "renegade" electrical charge traveling throughout your fluid system. Often it will damage your radiator or heatercore or both. Sorry, but I forgot what its called or how you fix it.

I'm not going to dwell on this too much. I will also change the coolant cap again and see if it is just a faulty cap. I don't see any leaking around the heads and I guess if pressure could get into the coolant then coolant would also get out. Probably oil as well.
Thanks guys for the replies. Just my old fart motor (and driver) I guess.
