Happy Easter

Hi all,
I'm still beating on my Lightning supercharger/intercooler transplant along with the Gregg Evens 4R70 Monsterbox and things are really coming together with my truck.

Have a happy tire-ripping Easter!

IH,
So, what's the latest target date for getting started?
What parts are you still missing?

A deal I made for 70% off retail for an altenator fell through yet it took two weeks to find that out!!!!!, but I just made another deal for about 55% off retail and I got both belts. Money has been sent and I am tracking my shipment right now.

I still need:

1. The oem fastners (bolts/washers, etc.) to mount the supercharger assembly and all the front engine parts like the pulleys, brackets, altenator, waterpump, etc. (Although, I should be able to use some of my 4.6 bolts)

2. intercooler reservior - I have electric fans, so I do not know if I can make the lightning verison fit very well, without the shroud. I was looking for a larger version of my Allen aluminum reservior but have not found one (Canton has an aluminum version for the Lightning, but it is the same shape as the oem plastic verison).

3. throttle/cruise cable bracket (maybe the cables too?)

4. tensioner arm/pulley that bolts onto the idler bracket

5. intercooler hoses, top radiator hose, manifold gaskets, engine oil/filter, trans. fluid/filter and maybe some new plugs.

6. lightning airfilter box and filter and boot. I think I need a 2001 up version since I have the 90 mm maf.

7. 8 bolt flex plate and torque converter - Based on recommendations of "dirtydog", I want to install an 03' F150 5.4 torque converter, since the fins should hold up to the torque better than my 99' 4.6 version. (went to the salvage yard several weeks ago to get these items, but ened up getting rear leaf packs instead! haha! ....but I did fix a 3 year old steering wandering problem.)

I have spent $2635 for my Lightning 5.4 engine AND lightning supercharger assembly swap, so far. However, if I could do it over, I would have needed only three stops to complete this swap, including (1.) local guy that sold me the supercharger assembly (50% cheaper than Ebay); (2.) JDM lightning engine; and (3.) Madenterprise for the kit. Because I am not saving that much money and I have lost a lot of time.

I plan on getting all these parts and proceeding with the install within the next 30 days.......I hope!
