Unhappy My shameful plug

Well, this is my last ditch effort before paying retail at the Ford dealer.

I need a PI intake off a 4.6 truck engine .

I have tried everywhere including the sales forum here and e-bay. No luck. That's the last thing I need to complete my new long block.
If anyone here has a 4.6 PI intake after a Roots style blower install or just an x-tra one then shoot me an e-mail at
My Email with a price.
I figure this is the best place to find one.

BTW has anyone listed anything in the Sales Forum lately. Every time I post anything in the sales section of F 150 online I start getting VERY WEIRDO responses. It obvious these responses are from someone trying to rip people off. If they really wanted to rip people off, they should learn proper English.
I appreciate the owner of these boards giving us the sales forum (and all the forums) to use but if you do list something, be very careful.

MITCHYKINS,
I will try to get the cast number for you. Thanks.

brahmus,
The junk yards I have talked to don't want to break up the engine. The want to sell engines whole as a drop in or core.
Thanks

MITCHYKINS,
The casting number is

XL3E-9425-EB

The last digit may be an 8 but it looks like a B.

Thanks.

I just did a search on www.car-part.com I found at least five (5) 4.6 P.I. (2001 and up) intake manifolds. I can not transfer the specific page to this post. Good luck.

The heads are from a 2001 PI. The engine will be the same as a 2001 4.6 F-150 when completed.

I do appreciate all this help.

No need to pay retail. On car-part.com, they are going for around $85-$100 bucks!

Your welcome. Wow! a 2003 with everything for that much. That is a great deal. I also like the fact that, most of the salvage yards on that site have a toll free number.

That site has saved me a lot of money over the last few years......but I have not found the lightning front engine/supercharger brackets/pulleys/tensioners on that site yet.

.....since you got it so cheap, maybe you could have the intake polished/coated for a chrome like finish?

Thanks raider and iron horse.
I don't think polishing is in the future, I just don't open the hood that often and once you start...well...then you have to polish everything.
I do plan to port match it to the heads.
