Prochargers with water injection

Hi, Anybody running water injection on a ProCharger setup? Just curious where you have the spray nozzle located at. Near the trhottle body or closer to the radiator (away from the t/b)?

I'm guessing it should be further away from the throttle body to ensure good evaporation before reaching the IAT sensor. Anybody running it below the 90* bend in the tube near the radiator?

Thanks!

You want it close to the TB. It has time in the intakes to atomize. Some spray before the IAT, some after.

it is best to be right in front of the TB and after the IAT. i dont know about water cause i would never do water injection, but i know with alcohol it must be after the IAT.

Hmmm... well, I'm put it about 5 inches in front of the silicone coupler that connects the discharge tube to the throttle body. My IAT sensor is in the silicone coupler.

I would think that it needs to go in before the IAT sensor so the IAT will read the correct air charge temp and allow the computer to adjust timing accordingly. Also, I want it to have plenty of time to evaporate before it hits the IAT. The evaporation is what will drop the temps.

I do my own tuning with the SCT pkg and will play with the timing once I'm sure the water injection isn't causing any other probs. I've started with a distilled water/washer fluid combo. Probably about a max of 15% methanol (from the washer fluid that's 22%methanol). From other threads it seems most end up running straight water and I probably will, too.

I'll find out soon enough how well it works! Thanks for the replies.
