Drop in a falcon engine?

Has anyone here considered dropping in the turbo'd 4.0L Inline 6 from the Ford Falcon into an F150?

331 ft-lbs of torque (peak)
322 hp (peak)

I don't think that would be a good idea. The F-150, escpecially the '04, is very heavy. And the numbers you posted are peak numbers. Youd have to drive around at redline all the time to get anywhere.

Those numbers are higher than the 4.6L V8's output and with a turbo the torque band is usually flatter and over a wide range of engine speeds.

Yeah but can you say "this engine is from Australia" like you can with the Falcon engine?
