Supercharger w/o chip, Safe?

I just wanted to ask this quick question. I have an ATI procharger p-1sc for my 2003 F-150 5.4l and I want to install it this weekend. Now I cant get to a dyno tune till Nov. 8 and I'm not settling for a mail order chip. I dont have the blower on right now but I have the superchip 4 program chip. My question is can I run the supercharger on the stock program without any problems? Or should I run it on one of the superchip programs that were tuned for the NA engine?

My setup will be this:
ATI Procharger P-1SC
Bosch 255lph fuel pump
Motorcraft AWSF-22C Plugs (22)
FMU that came with the Procharger kit
Air/Fuel Guage
Boost Guage
Fuel Pressure Guage

I figure I could manually tune the FMU with no chip to a good A/F ratio, but I'm unsure.

An "out of the box" Procharger setup is generally considered completely safe without a chip.

if you have any problems at all, it will be at readline so if it "pings" just stay away from 4,000 plus rpm's until the dyno day.

my vortech ran great with no chip IF the weather was in the 80's the 90's pinged and the 70 and 60 pinged worse. once i got the chip from vortech, no more ping.
