Few supercharger related questions???
Hey guys, thanks for all the help in the past, and i hope you can help me out now, I just recently installed an ATI procharger in my 97 f-150 4.6, And it dosent run too good So i took it to get dyno tuned and i guess i was running a little rich it seems to be running alot better, my question is to keep the fuel right i bought a MAFafterburner so i can keep the fuel problems undercontrol god knows i dont wanna nuke my motor, i am planning to run it with 11.5:1 A/f ratio, is this ideal or too much on the safe side, also i am planning to run some 24lbs injectors, do you think its too much? or too little, also a little curious on the intall and how easy or hard, the procharger wasnt bad but i am still recovering from changing my plugs, next time i am just taking the entire engine out, ok i also i am really concerned with AF ratios is it worth it to buy a bigger pump and lines, the ati came with a pump but i am still a little worried, also i am planning to install a new thermostat, what degree is ideal for the truck, i have a stock fan but i am debating about intalling the electric fans not sure yet any opinions, ok my last qjuestion for you all i would like to get a better ignition any ideas ona good one, right now i am running the BBK 75mm throttle body the GMS MAF not sure the size, i believe its stock not sure, JBA shorty headers, ATI procharger and a custom flashed ECU any mods i am missing Or you guys would reccomend, trying to get some extra horsepower so i can spinsome paddles out in glamis thanks for any help

Your fmu should take care of all your fuel probs. Once it's tuned, I wouldn't worry about that other thing you were talking about. Did you make sure it was all the way closed when you were driving it? That could of been most of your problem. If you are going to upgrade the injectors, go with the 42lb injectors, that way you can eventually upgrade to 12psi. But, if you upgrade the injectors, you will also need the 90mm MAF, and a good tune.
I'm assuming you didn't install this yourself? The install is kinda tough for the first time, but it can be handled
No need to get a bigger pump and lines. The one's that came with the kit are just fine. You shouldn't be worrying so much. If it's tuned, you are fine. Straight out of the box, the ATI is extremely reliable. I used to live down 17 miles of a rough (and I mean almost need 4wd rough) road for 3 months with the ATI, and had no problems.

Question about the MAF i bought and installed the granatelli MAF and is that 90mm I dont have the truck with me at this time so i cant measure it anyone know of the top of there head? Also i did the supercharger my self it was bad but not to difficult nothing that throwing my half inch ratchet through a wall didnt solve compared to the supercharger install how much more difficult?
Thanks

You have a lot of stuff going on right now. I would suspect the GMS MAF sending you rich. The 90mm MAF mentioned is the Ford "L" MAF. I don't want to send you backwards but you may want to tune with the stock 75mm MAF and the FMU then add on a larger MAF, injectors...etc with a tune as you go beyond the kit. Aftermarket MAF's fool the EEC like the GMS and Pro-M unlike the factory MAF's. IMO, I just don't trust them, there are too many variables going on.
