Question Supercharger conversion?

Does anyone know what components are needed to complete a supercharger conversion if you get a system from a Harley or Lightning to install on a 5.4l N/A?

There are two posts on the first page of the Superchargers forum about this VERY SAME TOPIC. Please learn to use the search function or try actually reading some of the posts.

For example:
"Factory Lightning SC compatible with 97 5.4L?"
"F150 4X4/ HD charger conversion"

That said, you do not want to attempt this. There are all sort of issues which have been adequately covered in the other threads. You are better off purchasing an aftermarket supercharger kit designed for your engine.

Wait for the intercooled Whipple. It uses a more efficient compressor(screw vs roots) and will most likely use a similar displacement as the Lightning Eaton supercharger.

I have the list available. Send me an e-mail.

It can been done but I have not had personal contact with anybody who has added the "L" setup without making the "complete" conversion like I did.
