Question Get rid of FMU w/ injectors?

Ok, can I get rid of the FMU altogether if I get new injectors and a bigger fuel pump? I will be putting in 36 lb. injectors and an in tank 255 lph fuel pump. Is this sufficient to delete the FMU altogether? I have the Holley Thunder kit but have not yet installed it. I am trying to get everything together ready to install before I do anything.

I didn't ask that. Can I get rid of the FMU if I get the injectors and the fuel pump? I haven't gotten my chip burned yet since my kit isn't yet complete.

i might be wrong but i thought the thunder came with a new intank fuel pump and larger injectors. the injectors are part of the reason a superchip is designed to go with the kit and the kit should include a card to be mailed into superchip.
it might have a fmu but i dont think it does (guess?)

The Holley kit I have does have an FMU, and I talked directly with Holley and they agree that it does indeed come with an FMU. If I can just not use it with the chip burn and injectors/fuel pump then I will leave it off. Are there any problems that may arise from doing this?

If you talked to Holley about it, what did they have to say? If they included a FMU I'd be asking them if you can get rid of it. If these guys (or me ) say "sure, leave it off" and you have problems, what is Holley going to say? I'm sure they included it for a reason.

i am sure holley will advice against it. I am learning that these kits change all the time and one day they are pro something and the next they are against. the few chip people i have talked to highly recommend taking it off and changing to a 42 lb injector and tunning from there with dyno a/f ratios. (also a good time to up grade the maf sensor) the snow ball effect is put into play and before you know it you have about $1200 on the old visa card.
this will make for a safer condition but i dont know that the time slip will change much.
i am not sure but i think it is more difficult to make a chip for a motor with a fmu.
