I believe there is a turbo kit out there, and it's priced over $4000 I think. The problem with it though, it hasn't really been tested yet, to my knowledge. I would stick with a reliable supercharger for now.

I know of one turbo kit (a twin) and I was not impressed for one reason. They choose to use mild steel headers. If I am spending the money for a system i want it to last (mild steel will flake off after a few month of use even if coated etc... turbo systems generate way too much heat for mild steel in a street setup.)

What I choose to do is size out a turbo for my engine and wants in power down the road and then got some stainless tubing and will be making a set of headers for my truck myself.

The turbo system itself is not the problem really it is more how it is made if it is made. Tuning shouldn't be a big deal as I am not after 30psi like my race car. Just want something that can get the umphf back in the truck. I choose a single turbo cause its just plain simple to do and should not take that long to fab up.

What are your power wants?
Have you addressed the fuel system?

Hey zturbo, how difficult is it to make a set of headers from stainless and where could I get some bends and other pieces to do so ?
