Supercharger Book

Just picked up a copy of "Supercharged!", by Corky Bell. Anyone read this book or hear of it? I've only gotten through the 1st chapter so far, but its really informative for anybody trying to build, install, or learn about superchargers.

I have it - it's a great read. Also, Turbocharged! is excellent, too. My wife thinks I'm nuts because I've re-read both of them a number of times!

Ian, thanks for the reply. I might check out Turobcharged after I finish this one. BTW, are you satisfied with the Magnacharger on your Expy? I have about 10,000 miles on my '03 now and I'm ready to start thinking about some serious mods. I was gonna start off with an electric fan and new exhaust. Any suggestions?

I love my Magnacharger (even though Corkie Bell is ambivalent about Eaton Blowers). It is everything I hoped when I got the kit. The extra torque is fantastic (especially for towing).

The only thing to be careful of in your mod list is that some exhausts cause resonance in the truck. I started with a Bassani system and the resonance was terrible. It would be OK on a pickup but an Expy is way more sensitive. Most Expy owners here are happy with the Gibson system.
