Cool, my dad and I built his 50 f1 about 10 years ago. That one was his baby he had for 30 years, so that got a nice paint job, chopped, and a bunch of whiney custom parts.

My dad also has a bug with 2.3 turbo, he is still trying to figure out all the plumbing though, its the early carbed engine that there is no information about.

Well, I just couldn't stand the stock height. I ordered a 3/5.5 kit the other day, and will also I use my Eibach coils for another inch in the front.

Well might be changing my vacation day Wednesday to a personal day so I can schedule myself for surgery.... Have a cyst that should be removed, we will see if any home remedies work tomorrow.

Okay, looks like sugury is getting put off for a while, but after working 9 days straight at least 10 hours a day and a delayed flight in Atlanta. I was in no mood to get up early and get to work on the truck. But I did get a little done, got the Eibach coils on the Belltech struts and decided to go in the middle at 3.5" and Belltech even says in the instructions that it is okay. Bought a nice spring compressor just to find out that that much drop doesn't require a compressor, but needed it to remove the Eibach coils from my Eibach struts.

Also got started on painting my Limited badges.

Sounds good, glad you're making some progress! We'll keep pressuring you to get it done haha. I hope the surgery goes well whenever it happens.

Are the Limited badges 2 piece, or one? I never knew those were the ones without the FX4, Lariat, etc part. I should've gotten those instead

They are 2 piece, and here is a little teaser of my tailgate badge I have already finished.

Damn . . . serious buyer's remorse! No one ever suggested that those were the ones I've seen like that. Cause I have a 2wd XLT, not an FX4, and those look better anyway and are exactly how mine would've turned out in the end . . . oh well!

What are you painting them with?
